Pavlo Stelmakh

COACH

Since childhood, my photos always included a soccer, a love that will stay with me for life. Inspired by my 65-year-old father, who plays and manages a futsal team in Kyiv, my happiest childhood memories are of getting new boots. I began playing at 6 in the Obolon soccer school, graduating at 17. I participated in the Kyiv championship and later in Gdansk’s regional championship after moving to Poland.

In 2020, I played in the Ontario Championship for an Aurora team after relocating to Canada. Soccer connected me with countless people and left indelible memories from my Obolon days. Beyond the pitch, it taught me teamwork, aiding my software development management career of over ten years. I’m confident that soccer, regardless of one’s playing career, imparts enduring memories and valuable life skills to children.
